To register for 司机教育 courses, you will need the following:

  • An image of your Student Driver Permit or License submitted in jpeg format (driverpermitimage.jpg)

车管所驾驶测试豁免

Possible waiver of DMV Behind-the-Wheel drive 测试 - Specific requirements must be met in order to qualify and will be presented during 家长/学生迎新会. Note: students over the age of 18 do not qualify.

The State of Oregon has the following mandatory requirements:

  • Both student and 家长/guardian participate in a 3-hour orientation class.
  • Students are required to attend the first two class sessions, no exceptions.
  • 30小时的课堂教学.
  • 12 hours on the road with an instructor (6 hours behind-the-wheel and 6 hours of active 观察).
  • 5 hours minimum of additional documented, supervised driving practice. 开车必须 be supervised by someone at least 21 years of age, with a valid driver license for 至少三年.

Candidates must be 23 years of age with a minimum of three years driving experience. 必须 be computer literate and fluent with standard Google suite applications. 必须 be able to work with students of all ages.

偏好 given to applicants who are bilingual, specifically in Spanish. 偏好 given to those with training as law enforcement, emergency personal, nurses, mail carriers, delivery drivers, public transit drivers, or K-12 teachers.

特殊指令
Applicants are responsible for completing a 9-week certification to earn their ODOT 教练认证. Applicants are responsible for the cost of training, with potential partial reimbursement after two terms of service.
